Booty
My boyfriend owns a curtain fabric shop (how lucky am I?!), which he's closing shortly (not so lucky after all). So he's selling everything off and invited me in to see if there was anything I wanted (?!). I plundered the thread stand and brought home this:
Which I then spent an hour or so arranging into rows of colours which I thought looked good together like this:
And then photograped them at different angles like this:
Instead of getting on with my cleaning and ironing.
Then I put them back in this bag:

I usually keep my thread in little mixing bowls, but this obviously isn't going to suffice anymore. Does anyone have any ideas for thread storage that doesn't take up too much space and still enables you to see what colours you have? I'll reward the best solutions with a few reels of thread!
Ummmm. Are you feeling okay?? hee hee hee. You think like an artiste. You put them in rows and colors and then put them back in the bag???? You are so patient!!!!Well, that goes to show what a good mommy you are!!!! You are patient with the girls too and nurture them.. No wonder their wonderful character shines through as it does!!! By the way, the pictures and the colors are wonderful!!

You crazy woman you!! Very pretty anyway, like waves of colour.... I'm trying to think how you could arrange them like those paint charts on a metal ring but can't come up with anything. You can buy them like that for embroidery threads.... All I can think is four of those big sweetie type jars from IKEA and separate the colours out into them like you have done... look pretty on a shelf! What's the bet you still can't find the one colour you want?!
