2008 is the year of THE WEDDING. Sounds ominous, doesn't it?!
Well, being as we've made no preparations yet whatsoever, it does feel fairly ominous. And so until May the 4th, 'the big day' is all I feel I'm going to have time to work on and think about. (Which is really unfortunate in view of all the excellent swaps going on at the moment).
We really should have the invitations printed and posted by the end of last next week, so I've been working on our portrait:
Cute couple, aren't we?!!
Unfortunately Annie tells me there's no resemblance to us whatsoever! She's conceded that David's hair is about right but everything else is wrong, wrong, wrong apparently.
I'll be back later when I've worked a bit harder on your invitations, bloggy pals!

I love that picture - you must be getting very excited! And anyway - you don't need to join a Valentine Swap as you've got enough "love" and "romance" on your mind already!

I love that picture you did - so clever! Are you going to have a blogland wedding where we all get to photograph ourselves wearing (and crafting?!) hats to post on our sites? I would need real champagne though as the virtual stuff doesn't taste so good!

Oh Gooooodnesssss!! A wedding seems like such a huge task to pull off, but then, it is really all perception and expectations. And, truly, i know with you two it will be all about the love and everything else will just fall into place!!! xoxooxoxox

Ooooooh, exciting stuff! The portrait looks lovely(altough I've never seen you so couldn't say how accurate it is). You'll have to post photos of the finished product. Good luck with all the preparations!

Ah! We get to hear of the wedding preparation thoughts at last! Just thoughts I notice, but at least we are progressing. Must be a New Year's Resolution radiating out of Norwich!
When it does happen, this Dad will be very proud.
Love you lots.

That is big. Wedding bells, all I can think is first Mary in the nativity play, and now probably flower girl, what will top it - Broadway musical star?
