Thank you so much for all the lovely wedding congratulations in my last post. I'll definitely be having a virtual wedding, but I'm not sure when to hold it- I'll obviously be a bit tied up on the actual day!
So what do you think? Before or after the 'real thing'?
I'm posting these new portraits of David and I for all those people who actually know us and didn't recognise us from the images in the previous post! I've been working on these in photoshop this weekend, but I haven't been able to find out how to put the two images together yet. I really want to be able to overlap them so it looks like we're together, which I think is quite important on a wedding invitation(!).
Can anyone help?!

wow Mrs Cooper (to be)I do believe you have cracked it. How about a spot of cut & paste I find that always does the trick

Advice from Mr. Knitsonya, the in-house photoshop expert:
Create a big blank document, you're going to want a couple of layers (2, maybe 3) transparent background in each of them and each one the size of the blank doc. Paste one image into each layer. Maybe you'll want some sort of flower image where they join. Adjust image positions, then use the eyedropper to pick which background to keep, paint-bucket that into the other background, or put it on the very bottom layer. To remove the backgrounds from a layer use the magic wand or select-by-color and just cut the the background. Add flowers in the middle, and or a wreath around the couple, presto.

Lovely pictures! I think you should have your virtual wedding after the date and then you can tell us all about the "real" version!!!! Lucy x
