Eliza went to a friend's house for lunch
today, straight from play-school, so I had a long child-free stretch to
do with as I pleased.
I thought I'd either finish sanding and
painting the woodwork in our utility room, or put the layers together
for this quilt or go to the supermarket.
I actually spent an hour
or so doing a job for a very ungrateful person who complained about
what I'd done and then proceeded to take all my hard work apart.
So I stropped off and consoled my poor, under-valued, pouting self by eating 4 coco-pops bars, a raisin whirl and a belgian bun.

only those things? man alive that would just be starters over here today.
sod the mean, mean people!

Well, nothing like someone who's ungrateful. No matter -- that quilt sure is pretty!

whoa! what fantastic colors!!
sorry you wasted time with the ungrateful person when you could have been finishing your quilt.
nothing like craft therapy...or snack therapy to ease your frustration.
